Friendship
14th July, 2010. By Raylene Boots
We are in Arlington, Virginia, again today capturing another class concerning malware analysis. What is nice is seeing the people we work with. The genesis of many friendships can be traced to professional contacts over the years. We have become close to many clients as well as other vendors such as photographers, bands, and disk jockeys.
We shared photos of our wedding (twenty years have gone by so fast!) with Dennis and Chris. One’s wedding can be the start of some interesting conversations, everyone has a story about their own to share. But few can top our masquerade wedding, you can see the photo here. Theme weddings require careful planning, and in a future post I will provide some tips on how to make yours a success. One of the people we get to work with today is Damon, who is developing our website for us. Sorry I forgot to bring more home made jam, but next time I won’t forget! We can’t wait for Damon’s wedding, which is quickly approaching! We are glad he and Shawna chose the Courtship Tale, it gives us such a personal feeling when we hear how you met, your first date, the proposal, and all the romance.
It is rare that one’s profession can blend so comfortably into one’s personal life, but I think that is the nature of the work we do. It is intimate to film people, whether they are presenting a class or sharing their first kiss. We have found a level of interaction that provides us with many close friends.
